(1) In addition to being against war and its culture, it is best to provide a positive message that peace is possible. We need to transform the culture that makes war possible into a culture of peace. Such a culture of peace was defined by the United Nations during the International Culture of Peace in the Year 2000. Click here for details.
(2) A useful tool for this is to share the following Peace Manifesto on social media:
I'm sick and tired of the culture of war, so I give my support to the culture of peace,
and I will keep spreading the word on social media until we win.
(3) This can provide a common universal theme in many languages that contributes to the unity of anti-war movements around the world.
(4) You can reproduce one of the flyers shown here on the left and distribute in your anti-war demonstrations and other activities.
(5) We are working closely with our anti-war partners, the International Peace Bureau and World Beyond War, to put this approach into action.
To succeed we need to flood the social media with Manifesto messages. Encourage activists to send messages many times by reposting the messages on our social media.
We encourage you to share your experience with us and with other activists. To do so, please fill out the following simple form: click here. You can see the results from other activists on this spreadsheet.
